Sugar gliders live in large groups in the wild, and they can get seriously ill from lack of attention. Some breeders won’t even sell you just one because of this. Sugar gliders are nocturnal, and their diet is quite specific and a bit tedious compared to buying a bag of feed at the store. They will sit in your shirt pocket, purse, etc all day. They love being around people and exploring. They are not a pet for people who don’t have a lot of free time. Oh, and they have a cute little bark too. (Or an annoying one, depends how often yours does it).
